SYNTHESIS &
TOOL DEVELOPMENT

Picture
Our diverse research projects motivate the development of new chemical biology tools to manipulate biological processes and probe dynamics of protein-protein interactions. For instance, multi-functional small molecule probes are needed that can trigger distinct biological processes and simultaneously serve as affinity probes enabling interactomics experiments. We are also developing fluorescent protein sensors that can report on cofactor delivery to client proteins.
