Carleen just found out that she was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to support her research and career development. Huge congratulations!

Katie and Madison were both awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowships. This is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to both of you! 

Katie presented her research project at the Symposium of the Vanderbilt Institute for Infection, Immunology, and Inflammation. 

Carleen presented her research at the Vanderbilt Postdoc Association Symposium. 

All four undergraduates from our lab were successful at winning fellowships to support their continued research this summer. Andrew Whitten was selected for the Stephen Harris Cook Memorial Fellowship awarded by the Chemistry Department. Ryan Fansler and Mason Clark submitted successful applications to the Vanderbilt Summer Undergraduate Research Program (VUSRP). And Logan Kouba continues to be supported by SyBBURE Searle Undergraduate Research Program. Congratulations, and we look forward to a productive summer!
